The Acta Gemini (flying the Dutch flag) has been delivered as the third vessel in a series of four Walk-to-Work (W2W) DP2 Construction Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs). Designed specifically for offshore wind construction and maintenance activities, the vessel combines operational capability with a focus on safety, efficiency, and onboard comfort.
The vessel is equipped with a DP2 dynamic positioning system and advanced walk-to-work facilities, enabling the safe transfer and accommodation of personnel working on offshore energy installations. As a CSOV, Acta Gemini is designed to support both construction and long-term operations and maintenance activities in the offshore wind sector.
Following mobilisation, Acta Gemini will commence a long-term charter in support of the Sofia Offshore Wind Farm at Dogger Bank in the United Kingdom. Operating from Grimsby, the vessel will provide offshore accommodation and walk-to-work services for maintenance operations on behalf of RWE.
