MULTRATUG 30 Officially Christened in Bourgas, Bulgaria
MULTRATUG 30 (flying the Dutch flag) was officially christened in Bourgas on November 14th. The 80-tonne bollard pull tug will operate with Bourgas Tug Service, Multraship’s Bulgarian subsidiar. Enhancing Multraship To'wage & Salvage's harbour and offshore towage capacity in the Black Sea region. As well as their capabilities in salvage and emergency response.

Christening of MV Scheldevliet in Rotterdam
Last month, the MV Scheldevliet (flying the Dutch flag) was christened in the Port of Rotterdam. The vessel is the fifth in a new series introduced to the fleet this year, marking a continued expansion focused on modern and efficient coastal shipping capability.

Launch of MV Baltic Sail
On 3 September 2025, the general cargo vessel Baltic Sail (flying the Dutch flag) was launched sideways at the GS yard in Waterhuizen. The vessel, designed by Groot Ship Design, will operate within the Longship Group fleet.

Sea Banckert and Sea Evertsen to sail under the Dutch Flag
On 13 August 2025, the anchor handling tug supply vessels Skandi Tender and Skandi Trader were acquired by Seacontractors from DOF Group ASA. Following their delivery September 2025 (expected) the vessels will be renamed Sea Banckert and Sea Evertsen and will sail under the Dutch flag.

Vertom Tula launched
The Vertom Tula was successfully christened and launched on July 24. The Vertom Tula (flying the Dutch flag) is the ninth vessel in the innovative LABRAX series. She was the first vessel in the series to be launched under the yard’s new name and Royal designation, recently granted in honor of its 100th anniversary.

The Paris MoU Committee published the most recent performance lists for flag States and Recognized Organizations on the first of July 2025. The Dutch flag holds the fourth position on the global prestigious 'White List'.

MV Boreas was officially christened in Rotterdam
On 18 June 2025, the Boreas (flying the Dutch flag), Van Oord’s new offshore wind installation vessel, was officially christened in Rotterdam. With a length of 175 metres and a main crane featuring a 155-metre-high boom capable of lifting over 3,000 tonnes.
