Royal T Shipyards announced the successful christening and launch of MV Vertom Quina (flying the Dutch flag), the tenth vessel in the advanced and energy-efficient LABRAX series for Vertom. The launch marks a remarkable milestone, celebrating the completion of the tenth vessel in the series of next-generation diesel-electric vessels.
Measuring 118.60 meters in length with a beam of 14.30 meters, MV Vertom Quina features a full-box cargo hold of 329,700 cubic feet and advanced diesel-electric propulsion. This design, shared across the ten-vessel series, delivers significant fuel savings, low emissions, and readiness for alternative zero-emission fuels.
The vessel will undergo final outfitting at Royal T Shipyards in Kampen before heading to Harlingen for sea trials and delivery later this year.
