On 25 June, Longship announced the successful delivery of Longera (flying the Dutch flag), marking significant progress in its ongoing commitment to modernizing its fleet for a sustainable future and offering new opportunities for its customers.
The Longera was officially delivered by Atlas Shipyard, culminating three years of research, development, and hard work. This achievement stands as a testament to the dedication of Longship's exceptional team and valued partners. Longera is the first in a series of four 8,600 dwt newbuildings ordered from Atlas Shipyard, featuring a hull design and diesel-electric propulsion system that deliver ultra-low fuel consumption.
