The publication, which is updated annually, contains general instructions and operational guidelines for winter navigation in Finnish waters covered by ice conditions. The update reinforces compliance with safety-focused ice navigation practices and outlines procedures for participation in the winter navigation system.

Vertom Quina launched

Maritime Monitor 2025: Maritime sector remains vital for the Netherlands

On December 10 the 2025 edition of the Maritime Monitor was presented to Minister Tieman (Infrastructure and Water Management). The maritime sector accounts for more than 310,000 jobs in the Netherlands and generates over €94 billion in revenue. This is revealed in the Maritime Monitor and the Port Monitor, published annually on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.

MULTRATUG 30 (flying the Dutch flag) was officially christened in Bourgas on November 14th. The 80-tonne bollard pull tug will operate with Bourgas Tug Service, Multraship’s Bulgarian subsidiar. Enhancing Multraship To'wage & Salvage's harbour and offshore towage capacity in the Black Sea region. As well as their capabilities in salvage and emergency response.
